Camping in Kernville

Saturday morning I packed my hotel up again and headed to Kernville, CA, which is about 3 1/2 hours Northeast of Long Beach for camping and river rafting. It was unusually hot and the location we were going to was just as bad, running about 100 degrees. As soon as I arrived, we headed to the river and chilled in the water all day. We did a little bbqing at night and headed to the local bars running into ex-cons, town drunks, and the usual WT. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to sing a little Neil Diamond for the crowd...good times!
