After a great nights sleep I was ready to do some more walking. I actually spent the morning working on paying bills, changing my address, and doing some more research on my trip down the coast. We headed for brunch at Ella's in the Presidio district for a delicious open faced Mexican omelette and a scrumptious biscuit.
The Presidio is an old armed forces bases that was detoxified and turned into a national park with residences for civilians. We walked through there and headed over to Crissy Field which provides a spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge. By the time we arrived at Crissy field, the fog had lifted and allowed for wonderful views of the coast. We walked along the beach and headed inland to the Palace of Fine arts, walking through Pacific Heights, stopping off in Nob Hill for a glass of wine and learning about biodynamics (more later), then heading through Russian Hill over to famed Lombard Street and eventually heading back on the muni to the Inner Sunset.
We packed a lot in and needed a little rest. I opened Brian’s eyes to Flight of the Choncords, which backed up our dinner plans in Hayes Valley. We made it to Abisinthe and enjoyed another great meal and had a drink at the Jade Bar.
