Mexico

I was in Mexico D.F. (Districto Federale) for a business trip. This was my first visit down to the D.F. I was pleasantly surprised by the city. For the most part, the area was very clean. The food was great. The people were very helpful. But, bear in mind that it is a BIG city, 22 million people and 8 million cars. I was told that the smog is not as prevalent in the winter because the temps are lower. This help provide a great view of the city and the mountains surrounding it. There is definitely a large separation between the rich and the poor, men still rule the business world, and they take very, very long lunches similar to Spain. I am looking forward to seeing more the next time I head down there...
