I was watching an interview with Don Zimmer. He mentioned the last season he was with the Yankees, Stienbrenner had started to hold a grudge against him. He was such a dick, that during a road trip where the Yankees were playing at Cincinnati (Zimmer's hometown) and Chicago (Cubs, where he coached several years), the YES network (yet another way to fund the highest payroll in the MLB) was told that they could not show Zimmer AT ALL during the game (since he was the bench coach, he stood right next to Joe Torre and they would never show Zimmer). The devil took it a step further and told the announcers that they were not to mention Zimmer's name AT ALL during the road trip.
