After a long, long hiatus I am going to attempt to return to posting some journals. I attempted to pass the Personal Training Exam again today and I have been focusing my brain power on studying for the exam. Well, I feel that I did better than the last time I took it, which I fell a shade short, so I plan to see a Pass on the reply I receive from the ACE.
It was a beautiful day in the NYC, a very late Indian Summer. The weather was similar to the first exam, except about 15 degrees cooler, but still very nice. I enjoyed a mid afternoon lunch a Mamoud's. A falafel sandwich. The same midafternoon snack the last time I took the test. I sat in Washington Square Park, as I did the last time and ate my falafel sandwich and soaked in NYC, a film from the NY Film Academy being filmed, a adolescent juggling, a very eccentric black mother with very wild hair that had red highlights chasing her son around, and so on...
These are the times that you get to enjoy NYC. Days in the beginning of November that are unseasonably warm, and you can tell people appreciate, sort of like the first warm day in Spring. That is one of the advantages of having four seasons. As I listened to my playlist on my Ipod, I felt like the the music seemed to match the mood. Bill Withers, "A Lovely Day" sounded in my ears as friends talked to each other, students painted, old men played chess.
